Period posting

Dear All,

I am facing a problem during the GR posting. The system is displaying following message.

<b>Period 003/2007 is not open for account type S and G/L 191100</b>

<b>Message No.F5286</b>

I checked in OMSY for periods. The periods are opened for the current month. While closing the period thro' transaction MMPV. The system hasn't displayed any error message.

Pls. help me out in fixing this problem.

Hi ,

Seems the period is with FI .

Check that .

Hi ,

Please go to ob52 and for your Posting period varient

and the account type S change the period

This will solve your problem.

Or

Use Tx S_ALR_87003642 and see the details .
