Data load at the end of every Calendar Month and Fiscal Period

Hi,

I have issue to resolve wherein the data is to be loaded from ODS to Infocube at the end of every calendar month and fiscal period.However,there is only one update rule used.

Could anyone guide me in this regard?

It doe not matter how manu update rules you use to update the ODS. If the last day of month is the same as last day of the fiscal period, then you will have a conflict. Note, the last day of a month can be different than last day of a fiscal period. If they happen to be the same, and the loading time is the same, then, there will be a conflict and that may raise to a lock situation. On the other hand, if the the last day of onth and fiscal period are same and loading time is different, then the data will be loaded. HEre, if you have delta, you are fine, otherwise, you need to take care to delete the earlier full load.

Actually, The InfoPackage must be scheduled after 7 PM on the last day of every month and fiscal period and must complete before midnight and its full update.

As I said, you have a risk if the last day of month and period are the same.

If it is a full update, pl include the process type to delete the request and make full load.
