No access to the ES Workplace

Former Member

Hello,

i cant access the ES Workplace and the forum of it!

created the two connections like described in "How to Consume ES Workplace Enterprise Services in Visual Composer"! (with my S-User as user)

when i want to search an ES in VC it doesnt really search and shows directly "no results to display".

i also tried to login with my S-User to the ES workplace over SDN and it doesnt work too, pw was resetted some times and it didnt help.

so what could be the problem, that i cant access the ES workplace?

regards Vartan

hi,

you have to apply to gain access.

use this <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/esareg">form</a>

hi,

well, I don't know how VC setup works but it should be straight forward.

I can acess the ES Workplace browser with the sdn link (to the left) Enterprise SOA ->ES Workplace. I can browse services and download WSDLs.

With the links given in the confirmation email I can

- access the (backend) system FUx with webgui (given that my proxy finds there; which it does for me)

- acess the (backend) system FUx with SAPGui (given that the target system is registered at my SAP router)

Since the soap endpoints of actual services in the WSDLs point to an obvious and reachable URL, I am pretty sure that I could call those services from a WS client script (although I haven't actually tested it)

Conclusion: I suppose either your credentials are incorrect or you have a network problem.

i can browse services, but i cant download wsdls!

then it asks me to log in again!

i dont understand why, because i have logged in before for accessing SDN.

i guess I don't know what you want to do.

here's the URL for one service

http://erp.esworkplace.sap.com/socoview(bD1kZSZjPTgwMCZkPW1pbg==)/smdisplay.asp?id=2BA14505334911DB2...

here's the URL to the related WSDL:

http://erp.esworkplace.sap.com/socoview(bD1kZSZjPTgwMCZkPW1pbg==)/get_wsdl.xml?id=06ADF9D2709311DBBE...

if you look at these two URLs, the probability is very low (or zero) that you can access one but not the other.

anyway, the confirmation email has email addresses in it to contact in case of any questions.
