Hello everyone!

I´m creating a sales order and i´ve got this information messagge.

DOCUMENT 010 HAS NO CHECKING GROUP ( MATERIAL MASTER- PLANT DATA)

Does anybody what it refers?

Hi Lakshmipathy,

We use Z1 group which is same as '02' - Individual Reqmts. It is the same across the board for all materials.

I feel that something somewhere is unique for this one mat and is causing this error msg pop-up. Please look at these OSS Notes 305987, 481144 etc.

Let me know what you folks think.

Though I am not very clear about your requirement, just try this.

In Material Master MRP3, put 02 in "Availability Check" and create sale order. Still if you face problem, please email me with screen shot, if possible so that it will be easy for me to address your query.

Meanwhile, reward me if the above caters your requirement.

Where did you specify the Control Group in spro? Shed some light on the exact steps please, since I also have this problem.

I found some OSS notes like 481144 for this but they are already applied to ECC 5.0 and we still have this problem.

If it is an information only & not an error message, you can still proceed with the Sales Order.

Hi,

the system is unable to carry out Availability check for confirming the sales order.

Pls assign a checking group in the material master data -> sales org: plant view to continue further.

Hi, thanks for your answer back

In the customizing i´ve created an entry for the plant which assign a control group to this plant. It works for the new materials that i create, but it doesnt work for the old ones.

I mean, when i create a new sales order and i use the material that i´ve creted after the modification i´ve made, its ok. But if i use a material that has been created before the modification, the message appers again. It seems like the modification doesnt work.

Do you know what i mean? is it a problem in Customizing?

Hi,

I was also getting the same problem even after maintaining the Availibility check field in MMR > Sales:general/plant tab. Well it didn't affect any further processing, as Rajesh told.
