IDM Reset Delta question

Hi IDM Experts,

When we run "Reset Delta" task, is it also delete all data on target systems?

For example, I am going to run the Reset Delta under AD package, is it going to delete all users/roles for both IDM and AD?

If my IDM connect both AD and ECC environment, does AD Rest Delta will also purge ECC data?

Hi Shunji,

Not directly, however there are times if the Delta data is removed and those jobs are re-run there can be some issues due to the lack of Delta data, with nothing being found in the Delta tables, IDM might see it as a deletion, and be aggressive on the back end.

Making any changes to Delta, particularly for the first time, should be done in a test system first.
