lookup of alternativeServiceIdentifier via CPA-cache failed for channel

Hi,

I am getting the following error whiel calling a BAPI using an RFC connection to XI.

" lookup of alternativeServiceIdentifier via CPA-cache failed for channel".

I tried searching SDN for solution and found the same issue can be popped up because of so many resons. I checked with the various solutions given in SDN links but didn't get the solution.

Can anybody suggest... What could be the reason???
