SLD Configuration between EP and 2004s ABAP

Hello All:

I have EP6 sp16 and 2004s ABAP installed on my laptop. The system informations is

1)2004s ABAP System Name: NSP (00)

2)EP6 sp16 Instance: JC02 (02)

I am trying to set up SLD on EP server to connect to the ABAP system for adaptive WebDynPro applications. I got far to see my J2EE system when I select "WebAS Java" in the "technical systems" in SLD. However, I am stuck in configuring in getting the ABAP system listed under "WebAS ABAP" under technical system.

Here are the things I have already set up:

1) On the Visual Admin for J2EE server, I have these parameters set

1.1) HTTP Settings: Host:localhost, Port:50200, user:administrator, password:****

1.2) RFC Settings: Gateway host: localhost, Gateway Service/Host: sapgw02

1.3) CIM Client Generation Setting: Host: localhost, Port: 50200, User: administrator, password: ****. Result: Cimclient test: successful

Result: Data transfer successful (So, my J2EE server appears as a web as Java in sld)

2) In SAP Gui, in rz70, I set the following in SLD Bridge: Gateaway information

Host: localhost

Service: sapgw02

Clicked on: Proposal, Activate Current Configuration, Start Data Collection

Result: User RFC Destination: SLD_NUC

RFC Call Failed: Error when opening an RFC connection

Went into sm59 and found "SLD_NUC" in TCP/IP connections, and tried "RFC Destinations" screen and found the error details: Error when opening an RFC connection, ERROR: SAP Gateway connection failed. Is SAP gateway started?

Obviously with that error, i don't see my ABAP system listed in the Technical system-> Web AS ABAP in sld..

can someone please explain what I am doing wrong?

Thanks,

Ky
