Hi,

ESS = Employee Self Service.

The Approval Process Flow is as follows:

1. Associate Enters Leave Request in ESS

2. Approver is notified

3.Request can be Approved / Declined

4.Associate is notified of Decision.

Associates are responsible to enter leave requests through ESS. Associates can't request more leaves than they have been allocated.

The request is been notified then SAP Workflow inbox will hold the request.

Once after viewing the request by email , then logon to SAP(HR System) to Approve or Decline it.

The approver can even create a note for the rejection and send it to the associate.

The decision can be selected by pressing the buttons like "Approve", "reject" or even "Cancel" is available.

The assoicate gets the final output in his/her mailbox.

Thanks
