Modeling Help

Hello All,

I am a fresher to BW, please bare with me as am posting more questions..

I have a file to load the following data eg..

Type dateTo dateFrom Tot_Hours

MMX 01-Feb-01 01-Feb-01 480

1)When I create a cube I dont know whether to include the DateTo/Frmm fields as a Keyfigure or a characteristic?? Can anyone please give me a rough design for the cube??or do I have to load the data in an ODS and then to a Cube??

2) the date format in my file is 01-Feb-01..will this be loaded into BW??
