How do I show text instead of the key for unit of measure

Key for a given unit of measure is not always intuitive and so a number for a KPI sometimes can not be understood easily. For example, 200 AU may not be as easily understood as 200 Absorb Units, likewise 15 CA may not be as easily understood as 15 Cases. Is there anyway in BEx or Web to show unit of measure in text rather than the key?!? I guess to eliminate this precise confusion, we have an option of showing Key and/or text for characteristics. But I couldn't find anything for unit of measure. Please help. I will assign points to helpful posts.
