We will perform std prc change this june 3 and inventory this june 4. In inventory we will use may 31 2017 for the posting date. What std prc will be use in my inventory will it be the prc before june 3 or the updated prc?

Thanks

The period of a price change is determined by the posting date. If you post your price change with a posting date of June 3rd, then your price change effects period 6, if you post your price change on June 3rd with a posting date of May 30th then you change the price in period 5.

And if you then post your inventory adjustments with period 5 after the price change in period 5 then it is valuated with the new price.

If you post the price change with posting date of June and the inventory adjustments with posting date of May, then the inventory adjustments are made with the old May price.

Hi sir jurgen

"If you post the price change with posting date of June and the inventory adjustments with posting date of May, then the inventory adjustments are made with the old May price."

If i post my inventory on may 31 then the difference amount and value counted qty in my iseg will be base on the old may price even i post a price change this june 2 or june 3. Correct me if im wrong on my understanding.

Thanks
