HANA External View for SAP CRM - Field is available in database, but is not available in dict

Hi All,

i try to synchronize an External HANA View in Eclipse, Ive just added the field to the Output and want to synch the dictionary view via Eclipse ABAP.

I received the error that the Field is available on Database, but not in the Dictionary. I thought, that all fields are external, what should I do?

Nevertheless the field name exists in ABAP, too.

I had the same issue.
After changing the DDIC Type form "CHAR" to "SSTR" and then back to "CHAR" the activation worked without problems.
