XML Transformation Service problem

17 Views

Hi Everybody, i´ve following the .pdf "

XMLTransformation Service

", with the intention of creating a "simple provider": register a custom service to do xsl transformation in XMLIview. Also´ve been reading many posts and couldn´t find an answer.

I do everything it says, upload the par, but... when i try to open an xmliview it throws an exception.

I´m nearly sure that the problem is that this pdf is old, and in EP 6.0 some things have changed. So, i will post my portalapp.xml , to see if someone can see the mistake:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<application>
<registry>
    <entry path="runtime/transformers/com.sap.portal.EmptyTransformersProvider" name="TransformersProvider" type="service"></entry>
  </registry>
  <application-config>
    <property name="PrivateSharingReference" value="com.sap.portal.htmlb,com.sap.portal.transformationservice"></property>
    <property name="releasable" value="false"></property>
    <property name="startup" value="true"></property>
  </application-config>
  <components></components>
  <services>
    <service name="TransformersProvider">
      <service-config>
        <property name="className" value="com.sap.portal.httpconnectivity.transformationservice.TransformersProvider"></property>
          <property name="classNameFactory" value=""></property>
        <property name="classNameManager" value=""></property>
        <property name="SecurityZone" value="com.sap.portal/no_safety"></property>
      </service-config>
    </service>
  </services>
</application>

I probed changing some things, and noticed that taking out the "registry" part, it doesn´t throw the exception when i open the iview... but i doesn´t show my new service...it only shows: RSS_TO_XHTMLB and XHTMLBSAXHandler, wich are the default ones.

Regards, Marco.
