Manufacturing vs Buying

In our company we can manufacture anf buy the same product to sell it. For example we may make product A but when we have shortage we import product A and sell it to the customer. We need to split these costs seperately because there is a tax advantage in it. We can;t make different material codes. Is there any way this can be achieved. Any input would be highly appreciated.
