WBS Settlement to Profitability Segment

Hello,

I am not clear about following question relating to WBS settlement to Profitability segment:

1) Settlement rule in WBS master shows Cat = PSG ( Assigned to Profitability segments) but I want to know how SAP system will understand this particular WBS elements need to settle to which value field? because in our settlement rule no where we have defined particular value field or particular characteristics to which we need to settle.

2) what are the key configuration required to settle WBS to PS?

Please help me to understand above issue.

Hi,

When you are configuring the Settlement Rule, you can choose to settle the costs of a WBS Element or an order to the COPA. In the same screen, you need to enter a value for the PA Transfer Structure also.

In Transaction Code KEI1, you will maintain this PA Transfer Structure, wherein you can define multiple Assignment Lines, each having a set of Cost elements and posting a specific value field.

Assign Points accordingly.
