Hi,
Does anyone have any idea wheather an application made in VC and deployed using flash, be run in the Macromedia Flash Software.
And if this is possible, how can it be done?
Or maybe, if someone can can tell me when a VC model is deployed, where does it go in the back end.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Ankur
If you mean whether you can run your VC/Flash application independent from the Portal in a Flash application: no, this is not possible. The VC application uses several Portal services (like the User Management Engine) and can only "used" through a kind of iFrame-functionality.
The iViews get a UID, which can be found under the folder (if I remember correctly) pcd/Visual Composer or pcd/vc.

Hi,
I have no idea regarding the first question.

This you can configure in VC. Go to Tools -> Options menu, and then Compiler tab. You can see the portal deployment folder and Portal system folder

Hi Sooraj,
Can you tell me the path that I have to go to in my server back-end (i.e. in the usr/sap folder) to find where my model is deployed. The purpose is to find the file which is eventually deployed on the server, when we deploy the model from VC front-end. Maybe after finding it, I can make out whether I can use it in Macromedia Flash Player.
Bye
Ankur
