Hi to all

I am working in HR time management reports , in my reports i am calculating no of days present aand absent , user wants to selection criteria one for psno , and 2nd one is for date means start date to end date,

my quse is that , is it possible to make 2 selection criteria ...

plz help me thanks in advance

Hi,

You can get it by a workaround .

Here you have to take Hidden KF restricted with Date charactestic User entry variable into the query. So that user is able to enter to a date or date range.

So Use customer exit varibles on STARTDATE and ENDDATE. The low value of user entry varible will be assigned to STARTDATE Customer exit varible .And The high value of user entry varible will be assigned to ENDDATE Customer exit varible.

Hi,

1)Take KF 0ALP_AMOUNT into columns area

2) Right click on this column in the Querydesigner,select properties, There you can see Drop down box with heading <i>Hide</i> ,select always hide option from list.

3) Double click on the same column.darag and drop any date characterstic and restrict it with user entry varible.

4) Then in filter are take Startdate and End date and proceed as mentioned in earlier post.
