Change History of a customized table

Hi ,

I had a custom table in which there are around 10 fields ....when I tried to change the field value using sm30 it is giving the change log for all fields except the one which is of type character type of length 80 .

any idea on this

Hi,

May be that char field belongs/related to other field before that, like

MATNR and MAKTX (i.e Material No and Description), even if you change description, it won't record, as the key is MATNR field for it.

(not exactly like this, may be related to other field)

Check in the MENu in that screen for all possible things and find.

must be flagged (ticked) for 'Change Document'
