how can i save the data in BEX reports in .txt format automatically

Can anyone let me know how can i get the ouput from BEX in .txt format automatically. The excel sheet generated should be automatically saved in .txt format. is there any inbuid functionality in BEX for the same.

You have no such in built functionality as of now. Try to do that using some VB program outside the BW system.

Can i do it in BW, before data comes to the BEX. is there any functionality in BW. any pointers. C the thing is that i need to get data from a cube into a text file for giving it to hyperion FDM as input.

You can use the Analysis process designer or try using the TCode

RSCRM_BAPI / RSCRM_REPORT and then export the query as a text file / csv file or you can use an infospoke for the same...
