start date for MRP

Hi,

Whenever I run MRP,system is considering very old open PO. Is it possible to start the MRP calculation from a certain date in the Past. Do we any options in the configuration.

Hello

If the PO is still open, MRP will consider it, even if it is very old. There is no option to control that in customizing and my suggestion for you is to close all those old POs. Another option is to use BAdI MD_CHANGE_MRP_DATA to make old orders not relevant to MRP.
