Solved: LSMW - Direct Imput

Hi Experts,

I hv couple of doubts in LSMW, they r,

1- In What situations I have to select the Direct Input method? Is it like that, for all Master data(MATMAS, CREMAS, DEBMAS), <u><b>always</b></u> I must go with Direct Input?

2- Can I create a Material in Material Master with Batch Input Recording method?

1) No you don't always have to go with direct input. It really depends on what type of program is offered by SAP. For example, the material master upload is only offered as a direct input program. For others, you may have a choice as to which one you want to use.

2) You probably can, but I'm sure it will be quite messy.. Better stick with the direct input way, or use the BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA.
