Storage unit lies into storage bin "TRANSFER" , can't be removed any more

Hi folks,

I need your help !!

We wanted to transfer a Handling Units for stock 8300 to stock 8310.

Those stocks ar WM and HU managed.

I don't konw exactly what the people did in the warehouse, the problem is know whe have a Storage unit lying into the storage bin "TRANSFER", everything is closed arround it and we don't know how we can remove or revrse the minus stock from this "TRANSFER" storage bin back to the WM/HU stock 8300 that can be used for other delieveries.

Futhermore I realized that the Handling Units behind is still linked to a inbound delivery that obviously was used to make this strange stock transfer. This inbound delivery is now closed and can't be reversed any more.

What ca we do now to reverse this silly TRANSFER and give free the HU to be picked somewhere else ?

Hello Gaspare,

First check out if there is any open Transfer order. When you move material from one storage location to another storage location at that time the stock will come in intereme storage type TRANSFER.

If nothing is pending then you can move this stock manually with LT01 transaction code and 999 mvt type. (it might be required to allow manual TO creation for 999 mvt type).

There are no open Transfer order any more, but somehow this specific storage unit (Total Stock 1094 - ) still points into this intermin storage type TRANSFER.

I created a new Transfer order using LT01 (movement type 999) w/o confirm it, if I confirm it what happen exactly ?

do this transfer order remove the interim stock from the TRANSFER area or just add a new storage unit with additional quatity ?

<b>This may be someone has not compeleted full transaction in WM, normally when you transfer from non-wm Sloc to WM sloc stock will come in Transfer bin, and there will be open TR (Check LB10) or TO (LT22). so before doing final transaction please check once again</b>

I created a new Transfer order using LT01 (movement type 999) w/o confirm it, if I confirm it what happen exactly ?

<b>Check the newly created Transfer order has souce storage type XXX (you transfer storage type) and bin as TRANSFER, also check it has destination storage type and bin as Actual. Once you confirm this TO it will reduce qty from transfer location and increase qty in Actual bin. Do you have physically this material in your warehouse?</b>

do this transfer order remove the interim stock from the TRANSFER area or just add a new storage unit with additional quatity ?

<b>If you follow the second point then it will remove, but if you do opposite to that (i.e. destination storage bin as TRANSFER then it will increase.</b>
