Submit button doesnt do anything

I have created a sample application which displays an adobe form and posts data to backend when I click submit. But actually nothing happens, when I click submit. I dont even see any error message in the browser. I see the following the default trace log and couldnt make out anything from it. Any inputs are requested.

<i>Processing HTTP request to servlet [dispatcher] finished with error.

The error is: com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.adobe.pdfdocument.base.core.PDFDocumentRuntimeException: Failed to UPDATEDATAINPDF

Exception id: [0014380F4E73005B0000001B00000D1000042BBA387226ED]</i>

    Hi Narayana,

    Error: Failed to update PDF.

Seems that u didnot initialize the values or u didnot kept anything (data)in the pdf or check the DataSource and PDFSource in the properties of Interactive Forms.

    Regarding Submit:

    Sometimes it fails to update.

When u kept the submit button by dragging it from WebdynproActiveX from leftpane,u need to create an action for that.

Goto properties file of InteractiveForm and select Event -- Action (Create an Action) and write the code in implementation tab of action method.

Check wheather the values are updated or not.

Let me know weather it works or not

    Hello,

Is the ACF properly installed on your client PC? For this, check SAP note #766191.

Also, is the PDFSource attribute assigned to the corresponding property of your form?

    Regards,

    Francois

    Hello,

if that is ZCI WD app, please check your WD script. If that is ACF WD app, please check your ACF installation, client installation and security settings for the browser.
