Here is my question .
We are currently developing a comprehensive release procedure for Purchase Requisition. Various release codes are triggered based on the $ value at item level.
Respective Approver are selected based on the Cost Center assigned in the Purchase Requisition. Our Org structure for Cost Centers are not complete. That means Approver can be Manager or Director or Vice President . But releasecodes are triggered fixed i.e MG, DR and VP. What we have done when no manager is available work items will select WF-BATCH as approver. Now system needs to consider that this agent ( WF-BATCH ) and do a auto release so that next level approver will get the work item . This is only in exception case.
My Question is :
Is there any way to tell work item that when WF-BATCH is selected a sthe approver , release the PR using BAPI_REQUISITION_RELEASE and work flow should continue to the next level.
Valuable answers are highly appreciated.
Note : I am using the same Task ( Dialog ) for all the release levels
