script logic

Please your help to advise me regarding script logic for consolidation script below:

My Data Manager Package have user parameter: TIME and PROCESS. I wanna run consolidation based on this selection. Process dimension is user defined type, for iteration purpose. I have ownership data for process-1 only and transaction data for process-1 and process-2.

While I ran consolidation package, I select PROCESS-2 as package parameter. I wish system will not run consolidation for this because I did not have ownership data for PROCESS-2. But, system ran consolidation using ownership data PROCESS-1 and transaction data PROCESS-2.

My Question is: I have script logic such as above, why system cannot filter ownership data and transaction data based on particular PROCESS id? and how should I do for that?

Thank you for your time and help.

What do you think if I use BADI to filter data based on user defined dimension type and execute RUN_PROGRAM CONSILIDATION. ?

    • Hi Vadim,

I am not sure. I just need system filter my transaction unconsolidated data based on PROCESS dimension (user defined type). I have used bpc script such as above and system did not run filter. Perhaps, do you have a suggestion?
