Hello,

is there a user exit in SEM-BPS to calculate the previous period for 0FISCPER.

e.g. previous period of this month "March 2007" is 002.2007.

Thanks and best regards.

That depends on where do you want to use the exit. If you wish to copy from pre period to current period, create a varible for previous period and fill it with exit. USe this variable code in the parameter group. In the exit derive the previous period. I have done this with cal month and can send you the code if you wish. Fiscal per is slighly different. But it is not hard to code.

Hello,

I use the exit in the planning level and I link the exit to a variable for "0FISCPER". I copy the data from a "Non-transactional Cube" to a "Transactional Cube" derictly of the period end closing. I still need the data in previous month for calculations in BPS. Maybe, I can use your code.

Thanks and best regards

Don't need user exit, use variable offset in planing layout.

Hope it helps.

Hello,

I have no planning layout, I use only a copy function in a multi planning area, to copy the actual data of the previous month to my planning area. On the copied data I will do some functions to calculate interests, distributions.... so I have no planning layout
