Crystal Reports 2013 - How to add new fields to SQL Command

I needed to change the table that a report was pointed to. The new table has all the same fields plus the additional 3 fields that I need. I did this through the Database expert and the new fields are showing in the Database Fields but not in the SQL Command. I need to insert a summary and create a running total with one of these fields but the field doesn't show up in the drop down lists either. How do I fix this. I have already tried verifying the database with no luck. TIA

    Hi,

You shouldn't have to add the new fields into the report with the Database Expert. You just need to edit the SQL Command and add the new fields into the query directly.

Once you do that, they should show up in the Field Explorer.

    Good luck,

If you're just linking tables in your report instead of using a Command, the new fields won't appear in the SQL that Crystal generates until they are actually used in the report.
