SAP HANA Studio 2 not able to connect to the HDB after SDS 2.0 plugin installation

Hi Folks,

I installed the HANA Studio 2.0 (SP12) in the latest Version (with Admin User). After that i configured the System to connect to my HANA DB.

It worked.

Now I installed (with Admin User) the SDS component Version 2.0 (

SDSSTUDIO200010_0-80002113).


After restart NO System was displayed.

I tryed to ADD System again, but i failed.


New Installation (HANA Studio 2.0) from original IMC_STUDIO2_202_0-80000323 again - HDB Connect OK.



What's going wrong?

Can you take a screenshot of the contents of the "Help -> Installation Details" window, and attach it to this message?

Then, can you go to "Window -> Show View -> Other..., and select "General -> Error Log". That should open the Error Log view on your current perspective. Can you take a screenshot of that area and attach it to this message?

I tryed again several installations but with the same result.

Hi Andreas,

At this point it looks like the issue is most likely in the core HANA Studio components. If you have the option of opening a Support Incident, then I would recommend doing so. We have not been able to reproduce the issue and Support would be your best channel to investigate further.
