How to install old VB6 program with CRViewer on Win7 x64

Our company has a few old VB6 programs that use the Crystal Reports Viewer to display on-demand reports (created in Crystal 9). These programs work fine on Windows 7 32-bit but I have not been able to get them to work on Windows 7 x64.

Is there a way of installing a newer runtime that works on x64? Do any changes need to be made to the VB6 program?

If not, is there any other way to work around this other than re-writing the programs in .Net?

CR RDC did not have a 64bit version so you are missing 32 bit dependencies.

It was supported on Windows 7 32/64 so likely missing something, compare PC's using Modules or ProcessMonitor to see what is missing.

    Don
