Hi, I often copy data (articles and quantities) into SAP - I first paste the list of articles, then paste the list of quantities into the adjacent column. Next I press 'enter' to confirm this data. Sometimes the quantity is zero, and I press the escape key when the error message appears, upon which the article line with a quantity of zero is removed, leaving a list of articles and quantities to order.
However, I have noticed that on more than one occasion a quantity value has been omitted half way down the list of quantities, meaning that all the other quantity values in the column shift upwards; the final article ends up having the same quantity value as the article before it. I cannot explain how this could happen - are there certain issues I should be aware of when copying and pasting data from Excel into SAP?
Thanks,
Andy
Andy,
I recommend you to create an LSMW or an CATT for importing data in SAP from Excel.
