Limitations on number of characters when download to excel from ALV grid

When a report is exported to excel from ALV grid, is there any limitation on number of characters transported from a column to a single cell in excel.

Ex: I have more than 300 characters in a single field in a internal table.But when I export it to excel Iam not able to get all the characters.

Please let me know on this.

The maximum length of character that you can have for a cell is 255 and the total number of records is about 65,662
