Problem in loading data from a Datasource to a master data infoobject

Hi all,

I am trying to load into a master data infoobject(text) from a datasource, the load to the PSA is success but there existed previously loaded records which made the load to the datatarget to fail,so believed that after the deletion of records (both from PSA(even if not needed) and also from the datasource the load will get completed, but still its failing with the error message "Duplicate records found".

Can someone help me to find out why this problem still exists, your help will be really appreciated.

Regards,

G.Monica Roja Flora.

I'm assuming you are on 7.0 from ur previous msgs. I believe you deleted the data in PSA. scheduled to PSA again and DTP'd to IO. If so, there is a option in DTP, update tab - at the bottom you find - HANDLE DUPLICATE KEYS... check that option. the data would go thru .. if you want to check the duplicate records in the monitor you will have a error stack which will show you the duplicate records, if u dont need them - fine, orelse you can go to PSA and change them.

Thanks voodi for that sugestion, but they are not actually erroneous records ...and we want to extract those records also,is there any other way to do this??

Thanks again,

if the keys match the system would deem them to be duplicate records. not sure abt ur req. Did u try to change them manually in PSA? i think that would be the only way. Never mind, if the key is gonna be the same, i dont think you can get them thru... anyway, if you do find a way, let us know....

Hi Monica

This error means that there are duplicate records in the loaded data(new data loaded after u deleted old data) .check for the data in the PSA and see if there are any duplicate records. Also check and deleted the previous request from the

data target.

Hope this helps
