Can anyone explain me what are the steps we need to do ,if we want to change from one source system to another source system..

could you please clarify?

you have a BW connected to an source system A and you want to copy let's say your Transfer rules to a new source system B without having to perform manually the work?

is this what you mean?

You would need to create new source system on BI side. And as far as on BI other than creating, nothing changes, you can do all the stuff you would have been doing with the old source system

Please clarify a bit more regarding the scenario, so we can answer to the point. Is your R/3 getting upgrade to ECC?
