Classification Problem: Documents are not Classified automatically!

Hi All

I am having a slight issue with Taxonomies and Document Classifcation.

I have a custom property which contains a selection of values and this property is attached to a News Form (XML Form). When the form is completed the the news is meant to be classified into the various taxonomy structure - but it is not!!

I have had a look into the logs and have noticed a few messages:

We have changed the etc/hosts but it does not make any difference

I'm not totally sure, but I believe I experienced a similar problem on a SPS18 installation. What version are you on?

(The SPS18 patch 1 took care of the problem as I recall).

Actually I'm not sure at all that your error is the same as the one, I experienced. But have you tried contacting SAP Support btw?

Hi

Alternative Host was not set. But now it is, it doesn't help.

Our TREX is running on a separate system for several portals, all on HP-UX.

Hi Rob,

the error code 8002 means that the Portal host or host specified as the alternative Host in URL generator are not reachable form the TREX. It's the network issue which could be solved either by the specificaton of the proxy server in the TREXPreprocessor.ini (if the TREX and Portal are located in the different domains, or you use firewall inbetween) or by the specification of the Portal server name and ip in the "hosts" file on the TREX server.

Hi Phil & Rob,

Please check the entry of the "Host" and the "Alternative Host" under SysAdmin - SysConfig - KM - CM - Config - CM - Global Services (advanced) - URL Generator Service.

The host names filled in there must be resolvable from the TREX server.

I have found some more info on the item it is trying to classify:

Does anyone know where this host name setting is?
