SXMB_MONI Display Information

Former Member

Hi,

Can some one please explain what controls how many days worth of details are displayed via SXMB_MONI?

The SXMB_MONI output in our XI system seems to drop or not include items that are older than a week while our SRM system retains the information a lot longer.

Ultimately we want to be able to increase the period in our XI system. Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Jerry Martinek

hi,

it all depends on how many messages flows via your integration server

if many 1.000 of big messages then storing them (and searching them)

can be a very bad idea - so you also need to take this into consideration

when you want to change your archiving program

Hi,

Through those points, I was able to find transaction SXMB_ITFACTION that can be used to change the retention periods for completed XML messages. This will or should solve the problem.

Jerry,

Check with your basis team whether they are archiving your messages or not? If they dont archive you can even see the messages one year before also. If they are archiving then you will not see.

Also please check once the selection criteria as rajeev mentioned.

Hi Jerry,

in SXMB_MONI, depending on the selection criteria for time period, the XML msgs will be shown of that time period......you will have to just see that no archive program in backgroud is archiveing your XML msgs......if no archive program is running, then in SXMB_MONI, you can give your time period and the XML msgs of that time period will be displayed to you......

Thanks,
