I have a simple requirement to create the text datasource for one of the field in custom table ZVIDS , it is the Factory Location field name "zfacnm".

Please help me how to get this done.

i tried going to RSO2 on a view of table ZVIDS That only has field "zfacnm". and bukrs,rbjnr (key) and create Text datasource

but i do not find the field TXTLG and TXTMG and LANGU where will i get these field in my text datasource

please help me with the steps.

why do u want to create a view for a text datasource, if the info is coming from one table. Create a generic text DS on the table and field. You should be able to see the text desc fields in the DS.
