Material Availibility check in Production orders

I am doing Material Availibility check for the components of Production orders. Is there a report where I can see what components and quantities have been allocated to which Production order. The reason I need this report is that when when I do a material availibility check for the components in the Order it says the quantities are missing but when I look at the stock overview report ( MMBE ) it shows there is sufficent quantities. I want to use this report to find out to what orders has this component been allocated to and in what quantities. Once I know the orders then if required I can 'Reset' the availibility for selected orders.

Good afternoon,

This is if you are using ECC5.0 or ECC6.0 not sure about 4.6!

There are a couple of ways you can do this, one is to use Transaction MMBE enter Material number, Plant.......

Select a line in the report then go to the header menu, select Enviroment, then Reservations.

This will give you a list of all the reservations for that material in the Plant

Or if you have access you could download the information from the RESB table using transaction SE16N (or SE16 on older SAP) and download the information to Excel 🐵

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards

Guy

Hello John,

Check the transcation MDVP and COHVOMAVAILCHECK.

This will give the details of components confirmed against each production and planned orders. Apart from this you can check the missing components also.

Check the scope of avialability define in the customizing and same assigned in teh material masters of plant materials. All avalibility check depends on the scope of check defined in customizing (for examle which stcoks, receipts and issues to be included and excluded in during the availability check.

Hi,

Use CO24 missing parts list to analyse .

The report is self explanatory

If this is not useful you can check the reservations in RESB table via SE16.
