Leave Request: Change document status

Hello Together,

we had some old Leave Requests in the System and after some research I logically deleted the workflows and the items in the Inboxes where gone. But it seems that the Document Status remained in "SENT" and is causing the problem that this request is checked against IT2001 every time you try to create a new leave request. Therefore you are unable to create any new leave request.

I don't know how it was done that the Document is in SENT and the Absence is already posted but does anybody know how to change the document status to any final status (for example Rejected, Completed ...). Because as long as this is, the employee can't use the Leave Request at all.
