In BI-7 we are getting 2 options Repair and Repeat?

Hi All

In BI-7 we are getting 2 options when we want to repeat? But this options will wont appear at a time some time Repair and some time Repeat?

Can anyone will let me know what's the difference between Repair and Repeat

Pls help me out?

HI

Certain process do not have the repeat option. If you want a certain process to have "repeat" option goto RSPC -> your process chain -> settings (from menu) -> maintain process types -> select the process type -> check the "repeatable" checkbox.

Depending on the process type, there are two possibilities:

You can <b>repair</b> a process. In this case the terminated instance is executed again.This enables you to restart processes that cannot be repeated with a new instance because the data to be edited is attached to the instance, as for example with a data transfer process. A data transfer process, for example, cannot be repeated with a new request number because the data itself is attached to the request.

You can <b>repeat</b> a process. In this case a new instance is created.
