hi,

When you activate a ODS it creates an Export data source considering BW system as the source system itself.

goto Rsa1->source system->You should have a source system created for you BW system too.If its not present there, create one.If it already exists, Check the Bw system whether it is active or not.

It should be active.

hope it helps,

regards,

Parth.

Hi Arul,

Had similar error in previous implemetnation,

And when we narrowed down to solution we found that Database space was fulled and by extending table space(basis process) it worked fine for me.

Hope that helps.

Go to t-code sm59 and take the R/3 Connections -> take RFC destination for B3TCLNT800(myself) and remove the Target host name and check the connection.

Then come to RSA1 ->Source System and find the RFC destination (eg B3TCLNT800) and right click and restore, then activate it.

Dear Arul,

ODS export datasource requires an Active connection to myself system .Restore the connection and then regenerate the ODS, without active connection, even you cannot create the ODS.

Thanks
