ALV in Spool

An ALV report is running in background for a reason not known to me.

The output is written to the spool.

The report has several columns.

Now that in the spool it is breaking every line into number of lines. It is hard to make out anything in the spool output.

To be precise the data is not as it appears in the report when we run in foreground where in we can scroll right to see all the columns.

Can we do anything to get the data in the same format I mean in a readable format.

Any settings from basis or in program please let me know.

Help will be definitely rewarded.
