SLT Replication - BSEG Calculation Job running longer in ECC

Hi Experts,

Our SLT System is in SP7.

I am replicating a cluster table BSEG with 6 fields(MANDT, BUKRS, BELNR, GJAHR, BUZEI, AUFNR) from ECC to HANA. I just need the data for initial load, replication is not required.

I have maintained DMC_ACSPL_SELECT table with the below considering initial load only.

I have also provided a Partition command in case the record count exceeds in multiple of 2 billions of records. (In the case it can accommodate up to a total of 8 billion records)

PARTITION BY HASH (BELNR, GJAHR) PARTITIONS 4

I have chosen Reading Type 4 INDX CLUSTER (IMPORT FROM DB) in the performance option.

But the issue is here, the calculation job is running for quite a long time. Its almost 40 Hrs and its still running. By checking the job log in ECC, its showing 960 million records have been read till now. It seems to be giant slow as compared to transparent table.

Any suggestions on the above would be really helpful for me.

I got the approach to initial load the cluster tables.

Whatever the above steps & settings described in the questions don't hold good in this approach.

I considered BSEG as any other transparent table and did all the settings in LTRS.

No need to maintain DMC_ACSPL_SELECT table.

I have chosen Reading Type 3 CLUSTER TABLE (DB_SETGET) in the performance option.

And the calculation job took an hour post which records started to load into HANA and completed in almost 26 Hours with 15 initial load jobs.

I am not sure whether this settings would be valid for table to be in Replication as well. Would be helpful if anyone is aware of this.
