Do you want to identify the scheduled background job (or other event) that trigger the processing event in your system?

I'm not sure it's possible (also event can be raised by a transaction like SM62 or even in another system (in a source system) thru some RFC function like BP_REMOTE_EVENT_RAISE) Look at transaction SM62 for a log, but I'm not sure System log this information to substiture a correct documentation...

    • As already answered, did you analyze SM62 transaction for your current version (debug, trace, CL_EVENT_HISTORY=>GET, BTCEVTHISTORY, etc.)

IMHO there is not much hope that SAP will have memorized this information, you should only get a time stamp, so with this time stamp look for background job which call BTC_EVENT_RAISE (TBTCP or BP_FIND_JOBS_WITH_PROGRAM) and were active at this time (TBTCO or BP_JOB_SELECT)

    Soumyabrata,

For Jobs linked to an Event, you can refer to the table BTCEVTJOB.
