Message no. AA669 while changing useful life of an asset

Hi all,

We want to change the useful life of an asset trx AS02 , but FI is closed and AA is open.

The error message that appear is:

<b>Fiscal year 2006 is already closed in Financial Accounting.

Message no. AA669

Diagnosis

You have initiated a recalculation of asset values for fiscal year 2006. However, fiscal year 2006 is still open is Asset Accounting, but not in Financial Accounting.

System Response

Due to this inconsistency between the General Ledger and the subsidiary ledger, processing is terminated.

Procedure

Close fiscal year 2006 in Asset Accounting as well.</b>

is it possible to close fiscal year in AA and then re open it changing the fiscal year in trx OAAR.

Hi

Try T.code AJAB and AJRW for fiscal year changes.I think OAAR will not work for change of Fiscal year in Asset Accounting.

Make sure that first you run in testmode.

Dear all,

In FBL5N we see that the exchange rate of an open item is 2150 VEB/USD but when we run F-30 to clear that line item the exchange rate is 2153,30. The document currency is USD.

Do you know why this is happening? In table TCURR all the rates for VEB/USD are 2150. where is F-30 taking that exchange rate (2153,30)?

why would you want to close the FY and then immediately re-open it? You'll be right back where you started from.

becouse if the fiscal year is open in AA we can not run the trx S_ALR_87011990 for the date 30.06.2006. And we need this info.
