problem with off set variable

Hi all,

I have got Actual cost and target cost with help new selections in columns and cal month on rows.we hv defined calmonth for each month with help of first month report variable and off set value (1) for feb and (2) march like that upto December(+11). but when I run the report for 02.2007 ,I am getting few records of march aswell. i want see only jan and feb data in the report .

Plz any inputs.

Hi Harry,

if I understand correctly, your requirement would be

- calmonth should be selectable (variable with range)

- for a given calmonth, for example user selected 04.2007, the report should deliver the result for 01.2007, 02.2007, 03.2007 and 04.2007

if it is correct, you should define the offset for calmonth variable (-3, 0)

Hi Danny,

we hv acutal cost & target cost on columns and cal month on rows.we want see every month actaul cost and target cost with respect to calmonth.so we are using aviable for this calmonth.we are also using offset varible to see previous month costs.

Now when I run report for the march, i suppose to get the data only for jan , feb and march ,but iam getting some in data in April too.

Any inputs plz.
