Change ECM doesn't cause Change Pointer for effected BOM

If an ECM changes the AENR.DATUV, it also changes STPO.DATUV for effected BOMs. But it does not generate a Change Pointer for STUE_V (BOMMAT).

    • We added an entry [STUE_V, STPO, DATUV] to BOMMAT using BD52.

Are we missing some additional configuration?

Hi,

Have you activated change pointer for message type BOMMAT (transaction BD50)?

Also please check tranasaction BD61 for activate change pointers - generally.

Wow, bureaucracy can sure be slow.

Yes, the message type BOMMAT is active, as are change pointer activate.

I believe this is something more than the obvious configuration... Something to do maybe with how changes are checked to create change pointers maybe?
