Hi,
it's the blocking of that particular Item which is ordered in sales order.i.e not to be delivered, if we keep a block.

Specifies a delivery block that the system applies automatically during
processing.
You can specify a delivery block for any of the following:
o Sales document type
o Schedule line category
o Delivery type
o Shipping activity, such as picking and goods issue
Example
You can specify a delivery block, for example, for all free of charge
deliveries. These documents then have to be approved before further
processing can take place.

Hi,
To set a delivery block at schedule line level which also blocks or defers the confirmation of order quantities. To proceed please check the follwing:
1. Select Overview -> Shipping on the initial entry screen of the sales order.
You reach the Overview - Shipping Data screen.
2. Enter a block which blocks or defers order quantity confirmations in the Delivery block field.
