Sales View...MM 3

Hi all,

In the Sales General Plant view of the MM we have the following fields:

a. Transportation Group : 0001 on Pallets

b. Loading Group: 0002 Forklift

c. Availability Check: 02 Individual requirements

I have the above said values which are same for all my finished products. Also the Tax Category is same for all.

If I am importing the MM records from an existing ERP system of the customer, How do I input these common value fields to the imported MM data? I need the stepwise procedure for the same.

Please guide me.

Hi Adiraj,

Your question is not very clear. but if you are asking about uploading of legacy data .................it can be done via LSMW or BDC program

SCAT can also be used in some cases.

but certain fields in any master record cannot be imported.........therefore depending on the material or customer those fields need to be filled in manually.

While you are creating flat file to upload data there you can keep the required values in the for these fields OR

while creating an LSMW you can maintain default values for these fields then you dont need to maintain these values in the input file

Hello Adiraj Das,

If you have already created material and want to make common for all of your material then MM17 - Mass material change will helpful.

If are creating Sales view, then LSMW will be easiest way by maintaining this field value as fix.
