How do I manually establish LINEAGE and IMPACT in Information Steward?

Info Steward does not always catch relationships in MS SQL database Integrator Sources.
For example, where tables and views are used in STORED PROCEDURES and/or UDF's are not picked up.

Info Steward does not always even pickup relationships between the tables themselves.

In order to get an accurate and complete picture of usage, impact, and lineage, we need to manually establish the relationships between the objects.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks in advance~

Hi.

Question is very old but the answer could be useful. The below FAQ will answer your question.

In short Information Steward cannot link tables in a Stored procedure. Apart from this it can also not create lineage and impact on objects written within DS scripts, SQL Transform, Extractors etc.
