PM Catalog Profile

Hi we implementing SAP and Golive on June. Our consultant is recommending for Generic Catalog Profile for all the functional location and equipment. Our industry is a large aluminium smelter with captive power plant. I want to know if I can get the catalog profile specific to obejct types and/or specific to smelters. This will be of great help to me.
